Movie in the Park scheduled for 9 pm Saturday, Aug. 13
Get the lawn chairs and snacks ready for the third movie in the summer series of Movies in the Park sponsored by Whitehouse Parks and Recreation.
“Gnomeo and Juliet” is set to play on Saturday, Aug. 13 beginning at 9 p.m. in Whitehouse City Park on F.M. 346 (East Main).
Don Branam, chairman of Parks and Rec says the movies have been well attended and it is a great way to spend the evening with the family.
“Come early and play in the park,” Branam said. “Bring some snacks and your chairs and make a night of it.”
William Shakespeare’s timeless story of Romeo and Juliet is retold in this funny movie that features the music of Sir Elton John and the voices of Emily Blunt, James McAvoy and Sir Michael Caine. This cartoon comedy will entertain the entire family.
