Croatia goes to war with Britain over King Arthur roots
As a man who was handed a magical sword by a lady in a lake before picking up the Holy Grail, it’s fair to say King Arthur has been associated with a few tall stories.
However, now Croatia tourism bosses are suggesting she was born in Igrane, now a popular beach destination. A Night Of King Arthur has been launched to promote the area’s supposed claim to fame, which the Croatians deny is a marketing stunt.
